Although, China won the most gold medals, the US had more TEAMS that won gold. So technically, if you really count the number of gold medals that the US received, we’d have more.

US wins all 3 medals in 400m race, dominates both mens and womens beach volleyball, and brings in 3 more medals in Mens and Womens BMX racing. Good job US!! Keep it up!
